Taverns of the Old Quarter of Córdoba"Come into “Tundidores” street, to Salinas, another ancient tavern.

We were recommended this restaurant by the hotel almanzor reception. When we arrived at the taberna we did not know what to expect. The waiter was very helpful and gave advice on the quantity of small plates for our group and also the specialities. The food was all delicious, plentiful well presented. Recommend the fried small fish and the chilled soups

Food was very nice and the portion sizes were big - the staff were very honest about this and actually deterred us from over ordering! The fried aubergine was a little greasy so anyone with cholesterol problems should take note, however, the spinach and chickpea dish was fantastic - a nice light alternative and very reasonably priced.

Menu in all languages and surrounded by fellow tourists in a traditional-feel tapas restaurant. The waiters are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed, making for a pleasant, air conditioned environment. The tapas are surprisingly good - the aubergine with syrup, spinach with chickpeas and spinach croquettes were some of the nicest tapas dishes I have had, although the pork loin wasn't to the same standard.
